Pajaro Valley Community Plan

This Plan, managed by David Early, had as its goals the preservation and enhancement of the Pajaro Valley's semi-rural character, improvement of services, facilities and housing, and a better definition of each of the communities that made up the area. Freedom, an historic town, was to maintain and enhance its unique identity through streetscape improvements and the establishment of a community center. Buena Vista, which contained significant amounts of developable land, was to accommodate balanced development that respected the area's rural character. The remaining two communities, Green Valley and Interlaken, were to have their characters maintained while infrastructure improvements were accommodated. The Plan contained policy direction to implement the goals of the Pajaro Valley communities.*
