Fairfax General Plan Technical Update

DC&E drafted a technical update of the Fairfax General Plan. When it was created in 1974, the General Plan was recognized as a ground-breaking document due to its use of environmental constraints as the basis of land use planning. DC&E's update ensured that the General Plan met current State requirements, while maintaining its place-based approach. The project also included substantial reformatting of both written text and maps so that information is readily accessible to the planner and the public alike.
