West Sparks Neighborhood Plan

City of Sparks and the Reno/Sparks/Washoe County Consortium

DC&E worked with the City of Sparks, Nevada, to devise strategies to improve Sparks' West End, a low- to moderate-income residential neighborhood. DC&E inventoried existing public facilities in the area and devised a listing and description of priority capital improvement projects. The project included significant public participation to ensure that the proposed improvements meet real neighborhood needs. The project was conducted as part of a larger effort to complete a new regional Consolidated Plan for housing provision, which was completed by Bay Area Economics.
