Calistoga General Plan and EIR

DC&E prepared a complete revision of the General Plan for this Napa Valley town. Beyond State-mandated elements, the Plan includes Community Identity, Infrastructure, Economic Development, Geothermal Resources and Implementation Elements. The public input process included open houses, public workshops and regular meetings with a Citizens' Advisory Committee. An implementation matrix ensures the General Plan can be used to guide annual budgeting and departmental planning efforts. Work on the EIR was folded into the General Plan so that the General Plan is largely "self-mitigating," with few impacts and mitigation measures left to the EIR.
