Community Center Programmatic Study
Monument Community Partnership
DC&E prepared a needs assessment and conceptual plans for a new community center for the Monument Corridor community in Concord. The needs assessment, based on input from community members and interviews with local service providers and stakeholders, resulted in an architectural program for the community facility, which was then translated into architectural concepts. DC&E worked with a Task Force made up of City and County personnel and local Neighborhood Action Team leaders that developed project concepts and ultimately approved the program and design. DC&E identified potential public and private funding sources that the Partnership can leverage for assistance with acquiring land and building the facility.
