Lake Tahoe Shorezone Ordinance Review

Tahoe Lakefront Owner’s Association.

In response to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency’s proposal to make significant revisions to the Lake Tahoe Scenic Quality Ordinances, the Tahoe Lakefront Owner’s Association hired DC&E to review the proposed revisions and offer input on their design implications. DC&E’s review balanced the need to protect Lake Tahoe’s majestic visual quality with the need to allow homeowners appropriate opportunities in building design, use of materials and lake access.
