Open Space Master Plan

In an effort to preserve its small town character and create a physical separation from fast-growing neighboring cities, Tracy is working with DC&E to develop an open space and agricultural preservation plan. The plan, which grew out of DC&E’s work on the City’s General Plan update, will identify locations and methods for agricultural and open space preservation. DC&E has designed a program of extensive stakeholder outreach and participation to ensure that the final plan receives support from the residents of Tracy and from the property and business owners in the unincorporated areas outside the City’s Sphere of Influence.
