San Ramon Valley Unified School District

The San Ramon Valley Unified School District obtained an option on a steeply sloping property for a new middle school and retained a consultant team to conduct environmental reviews for the proposed project. The resulting analysis showed a number of problems with the site, including the need for extensive grading to accommodate the school and traffic impacts on surrounding residences. This analysis prompted the School District to abandon the site and build the middle school in a flatter area in another location. David Early managed the final phases of this environmental review process.*
