DC&E prepared a focused EIR for the proposed Unocal Car Wash at the corner of Tamalpais Drive and Madera Boulevard in Corte Madera. The project involved demolition of the existing service station and removal of its tanks and pumps, and construction of a new fueling area, car wash and mini-mart on the same site. The proposed development would require a Zoning Ordinance amendment and may have significant impacts on local traffic, visual quality and noise in the area.
