Third Street Bridge Replacement Project

City of Napa, as a sub-consultant to J. Muller International

DC&E conducted an environmental review of the replacement of the Third Street Bridge over the Napa River, which is a component of the Napa River Flood Reduction Project.  The environmental review process, which followed all Caltrans and FHWA requirements, included a visual quality assessment of the proposed bridge design and an investigation of historic buildings and archaeologically significant resources on and near the site.  DC&E also prepared a Preliminary Environmental Study (PES) form, a Regular Categorical Exclusion, and the necessary permit applications.  DC&E was responsible for coordinating with all involved federal and state agencies throughout the bridge design process.
