Napa River Mitigation Monitoring Program

Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District

NCFCWCD, working in conjunction with the US Army Corps of Engineers and with the assistance of DC&E, completed a Final EIS/EIR on the proposed Napa River Flood Reduction Project.  DC&E developed a Mitigation Monitoring Program (MMP) in compliance with Assembly Bill 3180 that helped to ensure compliance with mitigation measures that were conditions of approval for the Flood Reduction Project.  The MMP identified the agency or department responsible for implementing each mitigation measure, the event that "triggered" implementation, the frequency with which each measure was to be implemented, and the party or agency responsible for verifying that the measure was implemented.
