DC&E studied the potential development of a single-family residence on a prominent ridgeline on the Fairfax/San Anselmo town line. The objective of the study was to provide the Town with an analysis of potential building envelopes that take advantage of the sweeping views of Marin County and San Francisco without compromising the visual quality of the surrounding wooded slopes and ridgelines. In conjunction with the siting studies, DC&E assessed the project's environmental impacts in an Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration.
