Creek Protection Reports
Various Private Clients throughout Oakland
WMA has been retained by property owners throughout the Oakland hills to prepare individual Creek Protection Permit applications and reports as required by the City of Oakland for new developments within creek corridors. Following review of site conditions, including topography, drainage patterns and existing vegetation, WMA prepares a detailed report for each owner with recommendations for development of the property that complies with the City of Oakland Creek Protection Ordinance. These reports include an analysis of existing site conditions and hydrology, recommendations for best management practices during development, and site specific recommendations for enhancing the creek corridor with supplemental riparian plantings. The reports also address opportunities for limiting site runoff and protecting the long-term health of the watershed.
