AC Transit Bus Shelter Program Site Design Work

DC&E provided design and drafting services for new bus transit shelters in the San Francisco East Bay area. This involved measuring existing site conditions and completing computer-drafted shelter installation plans. Each shelter design met ADA accessibility, protected existing street trees and respected property owner access. The drawings included detailed site dimensions and noted existing vegetation and utilities for cities' and utility agencies' plan approval. The new transit shelters provide amenities for the localities' streetscapes, protection from weather and schedule information for transit riders.
