Wildcat Creek Trail Study

DC&E developed a layout for a trail along an urbanized segment of Wildcat Creek in San Pablo. The design included a trail, a new park, habitat restoration, bank stabilization and interpretive elements as well as an option for fuller restoration if redevelopment of a near by shopping center were to occur. Funded with a grant from ABAG, the final report also identified implementation, next steps and associated costs. The City is now using the final report as a tool for fund raising for trail construction. DC&E prepared a successful grant application for the City, resulting in an award of funding from the Bay Trail Project.
