Jaca Property Oakland Creek Protection Report

WMA prepared a report of existing and hydrological conditions to the undeveloped property adjacent to Mr. Jaca's in the Oakland hills near Skyline Boulevard. The property is within the 1991 firestorm burn area and the vegetation is still in relatively early successional stages. An un-named creek runs northeast to southwest through the property and drainage is part of the Temescal Creek watershed. The report addressed the safeguard and preservations of creeks, riparian corridors, vegetation and wildlife. WMA also made recommendations for preventing activities that would contribute to flooding, erosion or sedimentation; enhancements to recreational and beneficial uses for the creek; protection of drainage facilities, and of health and safety to public and private property.
