Los Gatos Presentation Center Landscape Design for the Sisters of the Presentation as a subconsultant to DSA Architects. DC&E prepared the landscape plans for a new dining facility at a retreat and conference center in Los Gatos, California. Project highlights included innovative storm water management utilizing vegetated swales, drought tolerant and native plantings, and a green roof. Paved areas incorporated permeable materials, recycled materials and products utilizing a high albedo content to reduce heat emissions. Overall, the design focuses on preserving the native ecosystem while reducing resource consumption. The project is currently seeking LEED™ certification.
