Martial Cottle Park Master Plan

Martial Cottle Park will be a new park on a 300-acre historic agricultural site in southeast San Jose. The park represents a joint planning effort by Santa Clara County and the State of California Parks and Recreation Department. DC&E is leading a consultant team that is facilitating the public and stakeholder input process and developing the design for a new park that will feature active agricultural uses, recreational trails and amenities, habitat enhancement and community-serving facilities. Surrounded by urban development, the park will provide unparalleled opportunities to educate visitors about sustainable agriculture as well as the family-farming history of the Santa Clara Valley. In addition to writing the Master Plan and State Park General Plan document for the new park, DC&E will complete the Environmental Impact Report for the project.
