Collaborative for High Performance Schools

The Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) asked WMA to help realize its vision of healthy, well-designed learning environments. As part of an interdisciplinary team of experts, WMA developed guidelines for incorporating sustainability into site planning and landscape design for schools. WMA's guidelines incorporated the latest ecological thinking in such areas as integrated pest management, landscaping for energy and water efficiency, and designing outdoor spaces that also function as environmental classrooms.
