Transportation for Livable Communities Grant Applications

DC&E helped prepare Transportation for Livable Communities capital grant applications on behalf of the cities of Vallejo, Union City and Redwood City for submission to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC). DC&E wrote grant narratives describing the proposed transportation projects and their ability to meet program goals and criteria. DC&E also contributed photography, maps, renderings and other graphics for the applications and provided guidance on required cost estimates. All three grant applications focused on the important link between the transportation project and the larger, transit-oriented developments planned in each community. Two of the three applications were among just ten that were selected for funding from a field of 55 entries.
