West Berkeley Frontage Road Study

DC&E worked with Whitlock & Weinberger Transportation to develop a preferred alternative for reconfiguration of the West Berkeley Frontage Road along Interstate 80 near the San Francisco Bay. This roadway currently carries both freeway by-pass traffic and recreational traffic. The study considered ways to make the Frontage Road more attractive to bicyclists and recreationalists after the I-80 widening is completed. DC&E assisted with meeting coordination, design of roadway sections and report editing.
