Golden Gate Bridge Bicycle Improvements

DC&E worked with Coastland Civil Engineering to design bikeway improvements at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge. These improvements were part of the implementation of the Marin County North-South Bikeway Feasibility Study, for which David Early served as the project manager. Working with a broad group of stakeholders, the design team proposed improvements designed to satisfy conflicting interests, such as those between bicyclists and motorists, and to facilitate safe, increased access to the bridge for cyclists.
