DC&E assisted Alta Planning in the preparation of a Master Plan for county-wide pedestrian and bicycle transportation. DC&E was responsible for the pedestrian planning component of the project, and for ensuring plan compatibility with DC&E staff's previous work on the Marin County North-South Bikeway Feasibility Study.

Mid-Block Crossing. One concept proposed by DC&E illustrated ways to calm traffic, increase pedestrian amenities and provide safer, more enjoyable street life. Drawn as a prototype, it shows a number of improvements which could be used individually or in combination in any of the small downtowns and commercial districts in the county.
