Equity Office, as a subconsultant to Morrison & Foerster

DC&E assisted the law firm of Morrison & Foerster in its work with Equity Office to review and analyze a proposed pedestrian and bicycle pathway connection from the rehabilitated Cal Park Hill Tunnel through Equity Office Larkspur Landing commercial and office property in Marin County. The pathway alignment proposed by the County of Marin was located in close proximity to the entry of an existing office building where potential bicycle-pedestrian conflicts could occur. DC&E investigated alternative alignments involving reconfiguration of the existing office parking in order to provide a protected pathway separate from vehicle circulation lanes and located further from the primary building entrance. DC&E provided a conceptual design sketch of the alternative alignment and guidance on pedestrian and bicycle design standards.
