Los Altos Hills Greenway

WMA was engaged to design a "greenway" entrance to the northern portion of suburban Los Altos Hills. The intent of the greenway was to enhance the rural character and to provide a linkage to the larger regional greenway. Highlighting the existing creek, riparian corridor and native vegetation including stands of valley oaks and grasslands, the greenway concept provided the town of Los Altos Hills with a distinct and cohesive identity, defined and safe road edges, separate and safe trails for pedestrian, bicyclists and equestrians, connections to existing greenways, and picnic areas and trailheads.
