San Pablo Avenue Streetscape Master Plan

DC&E and John Northmore Roberts and Associates completed a Streetscape Master Plan for San Pablo Avenue, a major commercial corridor that runs through Albany and the East Bay. The Master Plan builds on DC&E's previous work on the San Pablo Vision Plan and sets design parameters for median configurations, key intersection designs, gateway creek crossings, streetscape integration of City Hall, new street tree planting, lighting and bus shelters. The Master Plan process was structured around a set of public workshops and alternatives to allow the community to guide the development of the streetscape into schematic designs.
