North Broadway Neighborhood Plan

DC&E led a community participation process to develop a plan for an eight-acre brownfield site in the unincorporated Contra Costa community of Bay Point. Located within a half mile of the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station, the plan called for a mixture of single-family and multi-family residences in addition to a neighborhood commercial component on Willow Pass Road. The DC&E plan knits together older existing neighborhoods on either side of the site and envisions a style of housing consistent with the established neighborhoods. The plan is now being implemented by a developer selected by the County.
