Downtown Façade Study
City of Central Point, Oregon
DC&E produced conceptual elevations for a building on Pine Street, which is the historic spine of downtown Central Point, Oregon. The building had formerly been a pharmacy and will now be home to two new businesses. The designs for the conceptual facade improvements incorporate concepts that foster safe and comfortable pedestrian activity in the shops and restaurants that are located on Pine Street. Many of the design concepts that DC&E designers used in creating the conceptual facade drawings were formulated in previous DC&E work for the City of Central Point, including the Downtown Revitalization Plan and the Downtown Façade Studies. The City will use the conceptual elevations to facilitate building renovations that will be funded in part by a Façade Improvement Program that was created to help implement the Downtown Revitalization Plan.
