West Broadway Urban Village Specific Plan

DC&E is preparing a Specific Plan for Seaside’s West Broadway Avenue that will create an “urban village” to function as Seaside’s downtown. The Seaside General Plan envisions the area as an active node of increased intensity containing a mix of residential uses with ground-floor retail stores. DC&E is conducting an extensive outreach process that includes an Advisory Committee, stakeholder interviews, a developer panel and community workshops. The Specific Plan also includes design concepts for a public library and parking garage mixed-use project, new residential development in the adjacent neighborhood, and a future multi-modal station.
