DC&E prepared the aesthetic and visual quality impacts analysis as part of the EIR for the Garden Street Terraces, a development proposed for the pedestrian-oriented downtown of San Luis Obispo. The City recently enacted taller height limits for downtown buildings and revised its Downtown Design Guidelines to ensure that all downtown buildings are appropriately scaled and facilitate an active pedestrian environment. DC&E's analysis evaluated the project's consistency with the Downtown Design Guidelines to ensure that the project results in an improved downtown environment.
