Bayfair BART Station Area Improvement Plan

Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART), as a subconsultant to Wilbur Smith Associates

DC&E is working to develop specific projects to improve public safety, station access and local circulation in the area surrounding the BayFair BART Station in San Leandro. This study is being conducted in response to neighborhood and BART patron concerns regarding existing public safety conditions at the station and will result in “Crime-Prevention Through Environmental Design” (CPTED) solutions to improve safety, security, and access, including a set of prioritized capital improvement plans.
